Zakiya Baptiste was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. She is a recent graduate of The AMDA Conservatory (NY Campus) with a focus on Integrated Musical Theatre. After graduation she  performed in the finale chorus with Liz Callaway in Lincoln Center's Spring Gala and was a Soloist in Let's Broadway: All Star Cabaret singing Rose's Turn. Previous roles include Annie in "Annie Get Your Gun", Connie in "A Chorus Line" and Madame Thenardier in "Les Mis". 

Zakiya is also a founder, co-producer and co-directr of the first ever Facebook Live Cabaret called "Access Granted". She is additionally grateful to be working with "PAW PATROL LIVE!" as her first National Tour.  At a young age she was inspired to be a performer and she wants to say thank you to her family and friends for all their support in helping her achieve her dreams.
